How to Play

Goal

Stop the hantus before they overrun the Temporary Operations Command at the end of the road! Each leaked creature costs lives. Lose all lives and the neighbourhood falls.

Building

Tap a concrete pad beside the road to build a tower. Tap a tower to upgrade, sell or move its rally point (NS Camp only). At max level every tower offers a choice of two โ˜… ultimate upgrades โ€” pick the one that fits your defense!

Waves

Press NEXT WAVE early to earn bonus gold. Use the pause and speed buttons to pause or fast-forward.

Challenges

Beat a level with โ˜…โ˜…โ˜… to unlock its Heroic and Iron Challenges โ€” elite waves or one long siege, one life only, each worth a bonus โ˜….

Heroes

Your hero fights beside your towers โ€” tap the hero, then tap the ground to move them. Acts 1โ€“2 field one hero; Acts 3โ€“4 field two. Fallen heroes respawn after a short wait.

Merits

Clearing levels and challenges earns merit points. Spend them in the Armory to unlock new towers and legendary heroes, and choose your hero loadout there.

Saving

Progress autosaves in the browser. Use EXPORT SAVE on the menu to download a backup .json, and LOAD SAVE to restore it.

Towers

Cell-Base Tower โ€” rapid 5G microwave zaps. Hits ground & flying. (physical)

Durian Launcher โ€” lobs the king of fruits. Splash damage, ground only.

Talisman Temple โ€” enchanted talismans pierce armour, slow spirits. (magic)

NS Camp โ€” deploys NSmen who block enemies on the road.

Mata Sniper Post โ€” slow, long-range shots that ignore armour.

Hawker Wok โ€” flaming splash that keeps burning. Ground only.

Substation Coil โ€” magic lightning that chains between spirits.

Ice Kacang Cart โ€” freezing pulse chills every spirit in range.

Know your enemy

Armoured spirits resist physical hits โ€” use the Temple. Spectral ones resist magic โ€” use durians & 5G. Flying hantus ignore roads and soldiers.
